Terms and Conditions
By creating and confirming any Profile, you warrant that any and all information provided is a true and accurate representation of you, and that you expressely consent to the use of that information in accordance with the Personal Information Privacy and Electronic Documents Act of Canada, Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation, provincial Personal Information Protection Acts, any other such legislation, the Privacy Policy of MusicFestivalSuite and any privacy policy the festival also has in place.
By creating and confirming a Profile as an Entrant's Teacher/Group Leader, you warrant that you accept responsibility for understanding the syllabus, rules and regulations of the festival, and that you will ensure any registrations linked to your Profile adhere to the syllabus, rules and regulations.
By creating and confirming a Profile as an Entrant's Parent or Guardian, you warrant that you are the legal guardian of any Entrants who are the age of minority linked to your account, and that you expressely consent to their participation in the festival and the use of their information in accordance with the aforementioned privacy legislations and policies.
Any intentional misrepresentation or inaccuracy in your Profile will result in the suspension of your Profile through MusicFestivalSuite's Deactivation and Freezing processes, and may also result in the removal of any registration associated with your Profile. It may also result in the suspension of linked Profiles. You are liable for any costs associated with the suspension of your Profile and/or the suspension of any linked Profiles as a result of your Profile's suspension. You also accept the responsibility for the contravention of any privacy legislation and/or policy resulting from your intentional misrepresentation or inaccuracy in your Profile.
Creating a profile involves a verification process. Upon completion of the 'Create a New Profile' form you will be given the option to verify your account by Two-Factor SMS Authentication using a cellphone number, or by clicking on the verification link in a confirmation email sent to the email address you provided. You must verify your Profile Application to activate your Profile, and this verification serves as a digital signature attesting to these Terms and Conditions. If the Two-Factor SMS Authentication method does not work, please use the email option instead. If you do not find this email in your Inbox, check your Junk or Spam folders.
You may view MusicFestivalSuite's Privacy Policy at www.musicfestivalsuite.com. Contact the festival for any additional Privacy Policy they have in place.
By creating a Profile with the 2022 Rosetown and District Music Festival through this website, you are granting the Rosetown and District Music Festival permission to use pictures taken at Festival events and/or your name in the local media, the Festival Website and/or other promotional materials whose purpose is to promote the Festival.
From SMFA:
Viral and infectious diseases including but not limited to COVID-19, SARS, MERS and Influenza the Diseases are highly contagious and are believed to spread mainly from person-to-person contact. Public Health Guidelines have indicated that risk of transmission increases through singing or the use of musical instruments and equipment. Notwithstanding attempts to put in place preventative measures to reduce the spread of Diseases, Saskatchewan Music Festival Association SMFA cannot guarantee that you and/or your children will not become exposed to any Diseases as a result of participating in music festivals.
By creating a profile, I acknowledge:
The highly contagious nature of Diseases and the Public Health Agency of Canada PHAC and the Provincial and Territorial authorities recommend maintaining distance between participants to reduce the spread.
SMFA cannot guarantee that I and/or my children will not become infected with a Disease, and by voluntarily attending music festivals, I acknowledge that myself and/or my children are increasing our risk of exposure to a Disease.
I, and/or my children voluntarily agree to assume all of the foregoing risks and accept sole responsibility for any injury to myself or my children, and hereby release, waive, discharge SMFA for any and all liabilities, claims, demands, actions and causes of action whatsoever, directly related to any loss, damage, injury or death that may be sustained by myself or my children related to any Diseases while participating in music festivals, including all activity necessarily incidental to attending music festivals that may lead to unintentional exposure or harm.
I, and/or my children understand and agree that this release includes any claims based on the actions, omissions or negligence of SMFA whether contraction of a Disease occurs before, during or after participation in any music festivals.
The execution of this Waiver and Release is a condition precedent to myself and/or children participating in the music festivals.
And, for and in consideration of being able to participate in the music festivals, I, and/or on behalf of my children, irrevocably and unconditionally agree to fully indemnify the Released Parties from and against any loss, liability, damages, costs and expenses suffered by the Released Parties as a result of a claim made or proceedings commenced by myself or my children or by my heirs, and representatives, assigns, against any other person, corporation or other entity including the Crown who claims, or whose representatives, successors claim contribution or indemnity from SMFA, or which otherwise results in SMFA suffering or incurring any loss, liability, damages, costs or expenses in relation to any Diseases.
I, and/or on behalf of my children, understand that if any portion of this agreement is found to be void or unenforceable, the remaining portions shall remain in full force and effect.
By creating a profile, I and/or my children acknowledge that we have carefully read this agreement and understand its contents That we have been sufficiently informed of the risks involved and give our voluntary consent as my own free act and deed, free from any inducement, with the full intention to be bound.

Profile Instructions
Before an Individual, Group or Ensemble can register to perform in the festival:
the Individual, Group or Ensemble must create a Profile.
Before an Individual can create a Profile:
their parent must create a Profile,
their Parent or Guardian must provide the Parent/Guardian's Profile ID to the Individual for inclusion in the Individual's Profile,
their teacher must create a Profile, and
their Teacher must provide the Teacher's Profile ID to the Individual for inclusion in the Individual's Profile.
Before a Group or Ensemble can create a Profile:
their Teacher/Group Leader must create a Teacher/Group Leader Profile and
their Teacher/Group Leader must provide their Profile ID to the Group or Ensemble for inclusion in the Group's or Ensemble's Profile.
